SALT of the Earth

Sea, Air & Land Travel with Sarah and Dave Globetrotting

In an ever-shifting business landscape, adaptability isn’t just a trait—it’s a competitive advantage. Companies that embrace change, learn from challenges, and pivot when necessary are the ones that not only survive but also thrive in uncertain environments.

Day 5 – The Three Sisters

After missing out on an evening lit walk to see The Three Sisters and The Cascades we set off at 05:00 to see The Three Sisters at sunrise for 05:30. Walking through the suburbs we suddenly stumbled across the opening. It was like looking through a porthole to another universe. After the last house on the road, the area opened up to a backdrop of golden lit hillsides and forest covered mountains. Following the spiral tourist walkway we came to a view point where the land had literally just dropped away.

The Three Sisters

Aboriginal legend has it that a witch doctor turned three beautiful sisters to stone for their protection during a tribal war and couldn’t turn them back as he was killed. So here they stayed, three beautiful stone sisters huddled together and blended into this magnificent landscape.

A lot of luggage

Got back to town and had a quick look around picking up a few camping extras. The cockatoo was waiting for lunch at the local pie shop. We headed back to Sydney with much more luggage than when we came.

K-Mart & Guinness Pie

After returning to Sydney we went out with Steph to Bondi Junction and the Westfield shopping centre. We bought groceries, food for a picnic and a snorkel mask.

It fits

Once back, and when Benny had finished work we went out for dinner.  Guinness Pie and mash for the lads.  Chicken shniddies for the ladies.
