Challenges in business are a given, but it’s our response to them that defines our trajectory. Looking beyond the immediate obstacle, there lies a realm of opportunity and learning.

Maps & Routes

Our journey will take us on some interesting and v often peculiar routes and treks. We don’t want a normal holiday so only the flight out and flight back are booked. Everything else will just happen or not. We’ll see where the wind will blow us.

A crazy turnaround saw us fly into Gatwick with work, drive to Bournemouth, swap cases, get a couple of hours sleep, sort paperwork, meet Darren from Wales, then catch a coach to Heathrow for our flight. All this was done in a 16hr window – never again🤣.

One of our main types of transport for Sydney. Trips include airport runs, local trips, mountain excursions. Quick ‘n’ easy to use.

The Light Railway or Trams as we know them, offer a quick route to the harbour from Central. From Circular Quay it’s a minutes walk to jump on a ferry and start a whole new adventure.

Buses are our best friend. They start early and finish late. Our favourite journey is the 04:53 from Central to Clovelly. Arriving at approx 05:20 it gives time to have a swim in one of the many awesome beaches as the sun rises. Many of the beaches have large ‘rock pool’ which are sea filled swimming areas where the sharks can’t go!

Just like the buses, trams and trains, the ferries have a tap on and tap off payment system. What is great about this system is that they are all connected and one you reach a certain limit then everything after is free for the week in the Sydney Transport Network area. A beautiful trip to Manly where Water Dragons watch your every step from Manly Beach to Shelly Beach. Here is a great place to snorkel or swim. Another great trip is to Mosman Bay where you’ll find Taronga Zoo (didn’t go there) or take a 6km hike around the head to Balmoral Beach for some breathtaking views.

Talking of breathtaking, the blue mountains will blow you away. The Grand Canyon track is worth the 1000’s of steps as you constantly go up and back down this trek. With its amazing views, plunge pools or the chance to take a shower under a waterfall. Remember to bring plenty of water!!!
